Whatever your reason is, its time to take a good look at yourself and finally be convinced to stop drinking alcohol.

Only a doctor could evaluate how much damage is done when it comes to your body. A doctor could also give advice on how to quit drinking. There are two choices - do it by yourself or be medically supervised in a hospital.

Tell People (who understand)

Another effective method to quit drinking is to tell trusted people who will understand that you're going to give up drinking and you might need their support. Most people are flattered and would be there to support and help you through the difficult period.

Find Meetings

12 Step Meetings is a great place to meet others who have experienced the same thing you're going through. Searching for 12 Step meetings within your neighborhood would get you started. Different meetings draw various individuals. Attend lots of meetings all around your neighborhood; in fact, you should go to 90 meetings within ninety days. These meetings will give you all of the info you need about how to quit drinking liquor.

Great job on getting to this point in your drinking career. Now its time to begin a new life...one that doesn't involve drinking liquor.
